How It Works

How Community Challenges Work

Community Challenges are quick, positive mini-goals you post inside Sahya. Other users tap Activate to fill the bar before the timer ends.

1) Posting

Create a challenge with:

  • Title (keep it simple)
  • Photo (optional)
  • Goal (10–1000 activations)
  • Timer (3 / 6 / 12 / 24 hours)

2) Review & top reward

Every post is reviewed before going live. On approval, a random top reward is assigned and shown on the post.

  • Top reward is 100–1000 coins
  • Higher values are rarer (weighted random)
  • Rewards are paid only if the goal is reached in time

3) Activations

Other users tap Activate to help hit the goal. The progress bar fills with each activation.

  • One activation per user
  • Poster can activate their own post (still +2 only)
  • When the bar is full, the post locks

4) Outcomes

  • Goal reached in time: activators receive the top reward
  • Expired: no activator reward
  • Poster: earns +2 coins per activation either way

Coins are in-app perks (not cash). We keep rewards simple and transparent.
